Sunroom

This view of the sunroom is looking south into the bay with its glazed roof. Pinky-red poppy curtains cover the walls between the iroko doors and windows. A variety of armchairs around the outer edges, leave plenty of clear tiled flooring in the centre of the room. The single storey extension that was added on to the southwest corner of the cottage was completed in June 2004. This sunroom performs many functions:

With its east and west doors, it forms a porch to the old entrance to the house.
It makes a bright, sunny, welcoming reception area, adjacent to the car park, and it is usable all year round as there is heating under the Italian porcelain tiled floor, plus a couple of radiators.
The round table in the bay is a delightful spot in which we often serve breakfast for one.
